Merry { belated } Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thanks to everyone who emailed us correct answers to the guest pass competition for my gig tomorrow at Silo, Belgium. The competition is now closed. We only had six passes (apologies!) so the lucky few are Kristof Vanden Eynde + 1, Wietse Quirynen + 1, Ruben Boons + 1
2004 has flown by although this month has slowed down somewhat. We spent a wonderful week in New York - it was a really welcome break and leaving was harder than I imagined...the food, people and atmosphere in the run up to Christmas made everything seem so special. In between working on my design projects I've managed to remix several tracks from my album which will feature on forthcoming singles and begin work on some exciting new sound design for Roland. Talking of which - Roland are set to release a new product in January of which I know nothing about but for which I have produced sounds, patterns and a demo track...as soon as I know WHAT machine i've contributed to i'll post something here.
2005 looks set to be an interesting and challenging year. I want very much to spend more time producing, designing and am finally getting my head round my new all digital studio set up, it's taken a year or two but I finally feel able to translate my thoughts into LOGIC now after moving away from the old hardware machines!
Thanks to everyone who has supported me this past year - a special thanks to Katia, Dave C and also Phil K, Stefaan from Music Man, Goetz from Cocoon and of course everyone who has bought the album and single and come to the few live gigs i did do this year! Also a mention to Mike, Dan and Adrian at the studio and of course Milo.
